The R package QoLR allows to compute the scoring of main EORTC quality of life questionnaires and to perform the longitudinal analysis of health-related quality of life data according to the time to deterioration approach. One function per questionnaire was created to estimate the health-related quality of life scores per dimension. The scoring is performed according to the recommendations of the EORTC. Two other programs allow to estimate the time to deterioration and the time until definitive deterioration. Many definitions of deterioration are available depending on the choice of the reference score, the minimal clinically important difference, including or not death as an event and/or patients with no baseline/no follow-up scores as events. Results can be summarized by treatment arm by reporting the number of patients at risk, number of events, median of deterioration and Hazard Ratio with Log-rank test and exported in Excel. Finally, this package allows to standardize the definition of deterioration applied according to therapeutic setting.
